This website didn’t start as a marketing move or a vanity project. It started as a realization. For years, I’d been working on creative projects in different forms, radio segments, event hosting, announcing, content, branding ideas, community initiatives, often saying yes before I knew exactly how I was going to pull it off. Some of that work was paid. A lot of it was volunteer. Most of it came from a genuine interest in building something real and being useful where I could be.
Early on, radio gave me the foundation: how to communicate, how to think on my feet, how to work under pressure, and how to connect with people I’d never met. From there, one opportunity led to another, community events, on-air projects, hosting, and eventually stepping into live sports announcing with the Airdrie Thunder. Each role felt different on the surface, but they were all built on the same core skill: communication.
For a long time, all of that work lived in separate worlds. Different platforms. Different audiences. Different time periods of my life. This site exists because I finally wanted one place where the full picture could live, not just the end results, but the progression that got me there.
Some of the projects you’ll see here came together with budgets and briefs. Others came together with duct tape and late nights. Every one of them taught me something. More importantly, they helped me see that what started as “just helping out” had slowly turned into a real creative skillset.
Is this a business? Not in the traditional, fully-structured sense, at least not yet. But it’s also far beyond a casual side hobby. It’s a body of work that’s been built over time, through repetition, trust, and learning things the long way around. There’s a long game here, even if I’m still laying pieces of it down one project at a time.
This site is simply the proof-of-work. A place to show what I’ve done, what I’m doing, and where things might go next.
